3D visuals for Dubai.From France, just 2 to 3 hours behind.
Dubai is one of the busiest hubs for luxury, jewelry and fragrance. Its brands and agencies need visuals to match, often fast, for social media, e-commerce and in-store screens. I work from France, only two or three hours behind Dubai.
In short: I work remotely from France on 3D packshots, films and sets for brands and agencies in Dubai, mainly in jewelry, watches, fragrance and cosmetics. Dubai is on UTC+4 all year: 3 hours ahead of France in winter, 2 hours in summer. We work in English, and invoices are in euros, before tax. One image from one angle costs €450 to €600 excl. VAT; an animated packshot up to 15 s, €900 to €1,800 excl. VAT.
What I offer brands and agencies in Dubai and the UAE: 3D packshots, films and sets of jewelry, watches, fragrance and cosmetics, made remotely, in English, with previews to approve at each step.
Luxury and jewelry in Dubai
Dubai calls itself the City of Gold. According to DMCC, its commodities free zone, the emirate accounts for 15% of worldwide gold trade. Its Gold Souk is one of the largest retail and wholesale jewelry markets in the world.
Watchmaking has its own event there: Dubai Watch Week, held every two years, whose 7th edition took place from November 19 to 23, 2025 at Burj Park, at the foot of Dubai Mall.
What 3D brings to a Dubai brand
A piece of jewelry or a watch sells on its details: the sparkle of a stone, the polish of gold, the dial. In 3D, every reflection is set up on its own, and the same model serves a whole campaign: stills, vertical film, in-store screen, colorways.
For Rabanne Phantom, a personal project, the film presents the fragrance in a few seconds through its materials and finish: I handled its 3D composition and final render, with Roméo Chambolle on 3D motion. For jewelry, I made two vertical 3D spots for the Black November and Black Friday campaigns of Make It Shine, a French brand.
Brushed steel is handled like jewelry too: for Nor.ma, I made 3D packshots of the stainless steel Norma disc, stacked, in exploded view, on a desk and in front of a screen showing the brand’s website.
Getting ready for key dates
Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr are among the major campaign periods in the UAE. In 2027, Ramadan is expected to start around February 8 and Eid al-Fitr to fall around March 9 or 10; exact dates depend on the moon sighting.
A 3D campaign is prepared several weeks ahead: time to receive the product file, approve the previews and deliver the formats.
How a remote project works
You send the brief, the product’s 3D or CAD file, preferably STEP, references and the intended use. I send previews to approve, then the final stills and films.
For example, I made 3D illustrations and the set design of a Google Pixel 11 demo space for Orchid Creation, a design and product marketing collective present in New York, Dubai, Singapore and Amsterdam.
Invoicing and VAT
I invoice in euros, before tax. For a business client established outside the European Union, my services (3D stills and films) are not subject to French VAT: the invoice states “VAT not applicable, article 259-1 of the French Tax Code”. Any UAE VAT is handled on your side.

3D packshots, films and sets in Cinema 4D and Octane for jewelry, watches, fragrance and cosmetics, for brands and agencies alike.
One image from one angle costs €450 to €600 excl. VAT; three angles, €700 to €1,100 excl. VAT; an animated packshot up to 15 s (product rotation or camera path), €900 to €1,800 excl. VAT. A staged film is priced on quote. Set design starts at €300 excl. VAT per image with a supplied 3D file; without one, it is priced on quote.
