Rights holders

The nicolaspapin.fr website is published by NOP AGENCY, a French SASU with share capital of €100.00, 20 rue des Vergetiers, 76000 Rouen, France (RCS Rouen 940 034 572). Publication director: Nicolas Papin, president.

The works (3D renders, images, films and animations) belong to Nicolas Papin, their author. They are used under license by NOP AGENCY. The site's other content belongs to NOP AGENCY and Nicolas Papin, unless stated otherwise.

Some projects involve other creators or subcontractors. Their rights are reserved as well. The author of a work always keeps their moral right (article L.121-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code).

Protected content

Apart from third-party elements, the site's original content is protected by the French Intellectual Property Code. This includes:

• 3D renders, images and visuals;
• films, videos and animations;
• texts;
• the layout and design of the site;
• the site's own code;
• the logo.

Client trademarks and products, typefaces and software libraries remain the property of their owners and are governed by their own licenses.

Any use is prohibited

Any reproduction, communication to the public, adaptation, modification, distribution or reuse, commercial or not, in whole or in part, on any medium, is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of Nicolas Papin or NOP AGENCY (article L.122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code).

Only the exceptions provided by law (article L.122-5 of the same code) and the rights granted to clients and partners apply (see "Clients and collaborations").

Any unauthorized use may constitute an infringement (contrefaçon), punishable under articles L.335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Text and data mining, artificial intelligence

NOP AGENCY and Nicolas Papin expressly reserve their rights against any text and data mining of the site's content, including for training artificial intelligence models. This reservation is made under article L.122-5-3, III of the French Intellectual Property Code and article 4 of Directive (EU) 2019/790.

It is also expressed in machine-readable form: every page carries the tdm-reservation tag, and the robots.txt file disallows the GPTBot training crawler.

This technical signal does not limit the reservation. It applies to any text and data mining and any model training, whatever the tool, within the limits of the law. It does not apply to mining carried out for scientific research under article L.122-5-3, II of the same code. It does not target indexing by search engines or the display of excerpts linking to the site.

Clients and collaborations

Some works shown on the site were made for clients or as part of collaborations. The trademarks, logos and products they show belong to their respective owners.

Nicolas Papin's current clients and the partners of these collaborations may use the works that concern them, within the limits set by their quote, contract or collaboration agreement, and by the terms of sale.

This right is theirs alone. It does not extend to any third party: a work appearing on the site does not allow anyone else to reuse it.

Requesting permission

For any request to use content, write to 3d@nicolaspapin.fr, stating the content concerned, the intended use and the medium. Except as permitted by law, no use is allowed without written consent.

Rights granted to clients on their deliverables are governed by the terms of sale. Use of the site is governed by the terms of use.
